Description Of Duties
Title : Production Assistant
Classification: Nonexempt
Hourly Range*: $24.00/hour
Schedule*: Onsite Monday-Thursday, remote on Fridays (may change as needed)
Location: 14801 Califa St Van Nuys, CA 91411 (HQ)
DÔEN is looking for a dynamic and experienced Production Assistant to join our growing team in Los Angeles. This
position is on site/ in-office and will report to the Production Manager. The Production Assistant will be primarily
responsible for providing administrative support to the production manager. They will work closely with the
product team. The responsibilities below show a glimpse into the role’s key functions and the impactful
contributions this position makes.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Set up styles in ERP system.
Send out UPC files and cross check format/data.
Distro samples to crossfunctional teams.
Create boards for submit review as needed.
Issue purchase orders and send out to factories.
Update purchase orders with all changes within 24 hours to ensure data is consistently up to date.
Receive packages, login samples/submits in various reports.
Send out comments to factories.
Pull standards and previous submits.
Maintain raw material binders by season/factory/style.
Crosschecking shipping documents against purchase orders.
Run/send out various reports.
Skills And Abilities
Detail Oriented.
Able to quickly identify discrepancies.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Highly organized.
Able to shift priorities as needed.
Able to seek out feedback/guidance on priorities as needed.
High energy and eager to learn.
Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively with team members of different backgrounds, skill sets, and cultural experiences.
A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative; exercise discretion and good judgment.
Ability to prioritize competing projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Action oriented and results driven.
BA degree in apparel or a related degree or equivalent work experience.
1-2 years of experience in apparel production.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.
Periods sitting at a desk, typing, sketching and working on a computer.
Able to lift/move/push/pull objects up to 25 lbs.
Able to walk, sit and stand for periods of time.
Able to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones.
Must be able to access various areas of a given location.
