Are you highly organised with a love for fashion and an eye for detail? Poss & Soss is looking for a Production Assistant to join our small but mighty team. We’re building something bold, unique and distinctly Aussie – a kidswear label that blends thoughtful design with cheeky charm.
This role is perfect for someone who loves process and problem-solving, and wants hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle, from concept through to final production.
You’ll work closely with our Founder and Junior Designer to help bring each collection to life, ensuring everything runs smoothly from design handover to finished product.
Our Production Assistant will:
- Assist with the development of seasonal collections alongside the design team
- Create and maintain tech packs, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers on sampling, production timelines and approvals
- Attend fittings, take detailed notes and track garment measurements and changes
- Support fabric and trim sourcing, including communicating with suppliers
- Manage fabric and trim archiving systems
- Track samples, shipments and production progress
- Help ensure quality control across all stages of development
- Support general production admin and workflow organisation
Brownie points for any of the following:
- Prior kidswear experience
- Previous experience in a production or design
- Understanding of garment construction and fit
- Familiarity with fabrics, trims and sourcing processes
- Experience working with offshore manufacturers
