Studio Ray has an opening for an Assistant Production Coordinator, who is highly organized and detail oriented for their Children’s Division - all garment categories, outerwear, sportswear, and swimwear.
Responsibilities:
- Keeping track of all samples that we have on hand for past & current seasons (TOP).
- Provide Buyer with sample submissions (Trims PDF, Bulk fabric swatches, Size Set, PP, TOP) – T.J.MAXX, BJ’S, SAM’S. (tracked via BUYER T&A chart).
- Create and send to factory all packaging charts per account/style.
- Study vendor manuals & packing guidelines for each account to avoid any charge-backs or complications from occurring.
- Keep track of all sample submissions and status via “DAILY SAMPLE STATUS” Chart (for Size Set, PP, TOP per account/style) for each season.
- Work with Design & graphic team for packaging artwork, ZX hangtags, call-outs & joker tags.
- RFID testing as needed.
- Work with the factory on care labels, garment wash testing, CPSIA testing, & care label translations (SPANISH/FRENCH).
- Check and approve any layouts provided by factory (carton markings, labeling, hangers, packaging, etc).
- Send all fit comments provided by production.
- Provide UPC codes & cross check.
- In charge of all TOP requests & evaluations for all categories.
Qualifications:
- At least 2-year Fashion buying & merchandising degree
- Some industry experience preferred

Salary $50k-$65k
