For our DANTE6 Head Quarter in Vlaardingen, we are looking for a Production Coordinator.

The position

We are constantly working on developments that will bring our brand to the next level. To support our growth, we are looking for a Production Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a great interest in fashion, wants to develop on personal aspects along with the brand, loves working in a fast pace environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Production Coordinator, you work in a team that is responsible for all the developments of salesman samples and bulk productions;

You work closely in the team of design- and product development under the authority of our Creative Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with overseas suppliers on all aspects of our developments;

Contribute to the development of our size specifications;

Re-measure and checking samples in all kinds of processes and communicate comments to suppliers;

Assist during fitting sessions for all our monthly capsules, to create the very best fits for our products;

Coordinate/ follow-up production to ensure all production requirements such as colours, trims, fabric quality, fit etc. are approved;

Track and follow up on pending fit and pre-production approval to ensure on-time delivery;

Monitor problems to make sure our high quality will be kept by our suppliers;

Checking the shipping samples and make sure they are in perfect shape before to be forwarded to our customers;

Manage sample inbound process, guided by our Product development manager;

Manage courier shipments;

Assist on materialization process; sourcing follow-up, getting timely material information, contact with agencies and mills;

Assist on building development list: organizing product related data per style/SKU, and keeping list up to date;

Assist on Due diligence follow-up. Keep track record and regularly check in with suppliers to make sure Social, Environmental and Governance requirements are met.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

Educated MBO level and a minimum of 2 years working experience in development and production;

Solid knowledge of garment specifications, fabrics and sourcing, fitting and patterns;

Organized, flexible, committed;

A keen eye for detail, precise and accurate with a “hands on” mentality;

Independent and self-motivated;

Very good speaking and writing skills in English;

Strong and clear communicator;

Team player with a strong work ethic;

Strong in building and maintaining relationships with our international manufacturers;

Good eye for details and workmanship of garments;
