About the Role
Oceanic Trading Co. is seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join our team and support the production of two of our key apparel lines: Beverly Hills Polo Club and Game Time Activewear. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced apparel environment and is comfortable managing multiple product lines, vendors, and deadlines at once. You’ll work closely with design, merchandising, and overseas factories to move product from development through delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the production calendar and critical path for Beverly Hills Polo Club and Game Time Activewear, ensuring on-time delivery from development through shipment
- Communicate daily with overseas factories and vendors regarding costing, lab dips, fit approvals, production samples, and shipping schedules
- Track and maintain tech packs, BOMs (bills of materials), and spec sheets for accuracy across styles and seasons
- Monitor fabric and trim sourcing, purchase orders, and inventory to prevent production delays
- Partner with the design and merchandising teams to ensure production feasibility and cost targets are met
- Review and approve pre-production, TOP (top of production), and shipment samples
- Flag and resolve quality, timing, or vendor issues proactively
- Maintain organized production files, style trackers, and status reports for internal teams
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in apparel production, sourcing, or a related role (fashion/activewear experience a plus)
- Working knowledge of the full production cycle: development, costing, sourcing, sampling, and bulk production
- Strong Excel skills; experience with PLM or ERP systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills — comfortable coordinating with factories and vendors across time zones
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple product lines and deadlines simultaneously
- A team player who can work independently and problem-solve under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field preferred (not required with relevant experience)
