About The Role

We’re looking for a highly detail-oriented Production Designer to support our production and creative teams by preparing accurate, production-ready artwork for screen printing, embroidery, packaging, and merchandise projects.

This role is responsible for turning approved creative into technically correct production files – including proofs, mockups, color separations, print-ready art, embroidery prep, and production documentation.

This is a critical role inside the company that directly impacts print quality, production speed, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create production-ready artwork for screen printing, embroidery, packaging, and merchandise projects
  • Build customer proofs and mockups for approvals
  • Prepare color separations for screen printing
  • Ensure files are correctly formatted for production equipment and vendors
  • Organize and maintain production assets and artwork files
  • Communicate with sales, project managers, and production staff regarding artwork requirements
  • Help identify and prevent production issues before jobs go to print
  • Support embroidery digitizing coordination and production setup needs
  • Maintain high accuracy across sizing, placements, colors, and specifications
  • Assist in improving workflow systems and production processes

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in production design, prepress, apparel decoration, print production, or related fields
  • Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
  • Understanding of screen printing setup and separations
  • Experience preparing files for embroidery, print, or production is highly preferred
  • Strong typography, layout, and file organization skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience in apparel, merchandise, or print production environments is a major plus
