FDM internships involve a variety of tasks where interns will gain experience and an understanding of the luxury Lingerie, Swim, and RTW markets. Our studio is a collaborative team where all members work together to support our mutual growth. We will provide the candidate with experience and knowledge in many aspects of operating a small, but fast-growing company. You will have the opportunity to work with several departments including sales, e-commerce, PR and marketing, social media, production, and design.
Duration
SUMMER SEMESTER Part-Time (2-3 full days required)
Internship Description
Assist in organizing and maintaining fabric submissions.
Attending production fittings & take fit notes.
Inventory management.
Sample tracking from our overseas factory.
Assist in shipping out samples using DHL.
Pulling samples for marketing or photoshoot team.
Assist in special projects as needed.
Upload each season into style master.
Maintain the organization of production TOP samples.
Assist in updating weekly WIP reports.
Qualifications
Eager and driven to learn.
Works well in a faced paced environment.
Pays attention to detail.
Understanding of Microsoft Office Programs.
Quick learner.
Interest in the fashion industry.
Must be based in New York.
Available 3-4 days a week.
MUST be able to receive school credit for the summer semester.
