Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager in the Bag division at Bagmaker located in Gurugram. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring quality control, managing production schedules, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors to meet production requirements.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee and coordinate all activities related to the production of bags. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bag manufacturing (woven, non-woven, fabric, or leather) and should be capable of managing the production line, labor, and resources to ensure timely and quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and control production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.

Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.

Manage labor allocation and ensure optimal workforce utilization.

Coordinate with the design, purchase, and quality departments for seamless operations.

Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.

Maintain production logs, reports, and documentation.

Troubleshoot issues that arise in the production line.

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards.

Train and supervise production staff for efficiency and skill enhancement.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in production, preferably in the bags or similar industry.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.

Ability to manage labor and meet production targets under pressure.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Working knowledge of MS Office and production software/tools.

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Fashion Design, or related field
