Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a fast-paced fashion company. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire production process, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize production schedules, and foster a culture of lean manufacturing and operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of the production process to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Utilize ERP systems such as WIN Fashion and other manufacturing management tools to manage production schedules, inventory levels, and resource allocation effectively.
- Lead cross-functional teams across manufacturing, quality control, supply chain management, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
- New fabric development/ sourcing
- Review all documents such as packing lists and shipping schedule documents.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives by evaluating current workflows and introducing innovative solutions for efficiency gains.
- Confirm and review all lab dips, strike offs, bulk fabric and trims.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within the fashion or apparel manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing and process improvement techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams across multiple functions.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing management systems and plant operations including mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance and assembly processes.
