ROLE PURPOSE:
This role drives the production process for TIGER MIST, overseeing timelines, supplier relationships, and quality standards from PP approval to ex-factory. With a strong understanding of women’s fashion and overseas production, this role ensures critical path milestones are met while driving cost efficiency and product consistency.
Working cross-functionally with Design, Planning, and Logistics, this role oversees wholesale fulfillment and vendor compliance—ensuring all partner requirements, testing standards, and shipping
specifications are met. It plays a key role in supporting brand growth across ecommerce and wholesale.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES:
Coordination with Design:
• Work closely with key stakeholders to align on seasonal direction, supplier allocation, and adherence to the collection’s OTB.
• Manage critical path milestones to ensure timely design approvals and smooth transition into production.
• Work with the Senior Group Production Manager on team resourcing, including annual reviews and leave planning, in alignment with organizational needs.
Sourcing and Supplier Management:
• Work closely with the Sourcing Office(s) to manage daily production operations and purchase order flow.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and while staying aware of new, high-performing vendors in key locations for fabrics, trims, and finished goods.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly and lead improvements in quality, cost, and delivery.
Production Planning and Execution:
• Sign off on final booking quantities with Planning, ensuring alignment with forecasts and sales goals.
• Own and manage the production critical path from PP approval to ex-factory, ensuring timelines are met and capacity is planned efficiently.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Planning, and Logistics to ensure seamless coordination throughout the production cycle.
• Identify and resolve any production issues or delays to ensure on-time delivery.
Quality Control:
• Oversee quality assurance processes in partnership with relevant vendors and suppliers, including inspections throughout the production lifecycle.
• Ensure consistent product standards across all factories and proactively address any quality issues.
• Drive ongoing improvements in quality, consistency, and fit.
Cost Management:
• Negotiate costs and lead times with suppliers to meet margin targets while maintaining quality.
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost optimization across production and sourcing.
• Monitor production spend and recommend efficiencies in resource use and process.
Wholesale and Distribution:
• Oversee wholesale order fulfillment in collaboration with Planning and Wholesale, ensuring production aligns with demand forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all wholesale partner requirements, including testing, SKU creation, packaging, and freight specifications.
• Proactively flag any wholesale delivery risks or stock constraints and manage vendor accountability on compliance.
Team Management
• Support any team members reporting to you to fulfill their responsibilities, meet their goals and continue developing their skills.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager ((5+ years a plus) or similar role in the fashion industry, preferably within women's apparel.
- Deep understanding of garment construction, materials, and production processes.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing and production in China and other SE Asia origins, including supplier identification, negotiation, and quality control.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
