Role Overview
This role bridges production planning, inventory tracking, and data reporting (MIS). The person ensures right product, right quantity, right time — while keeping complete visibility on numbers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning (PPC)
Plan monthly & weekly production based on:
Sales trends (website + marketplaces)
Upcoming drops (like Friday drops)
Coordinate with:
Vendors / manufacturers
Internal design & sourcing team
Track production status (cutting → stitching → finishing → dispatch)
Ensure deadlines are met for launches
2. Inventory Management
Maintain SKU-wise inventory tracking:
Raw material (fabric, trims)
Finished goods
Plan replenishment for fast-moving styles
3. MIS & Reporting
Create daily / weekly reports:
Production status
Inventory levels
Sell-through %
Slow-moving vs fast-moving SKUs
Maintain dashboards (Excel / Google Sheets):
SKU performance
Category performance (tees, denims, etc.)
Share insights with founder/team for decision making
4. Data Analysis
Analyze:
Which designs are working / not working
Size-wise demand (S, M, L, XL trends)
Support:
Repeat production decisions
Discounting decisions
5. Vendor Coordination
Follow up with manufacturers for:
Timely production
Quality checks
Maintain production timelines & delay reports
6. Process Optimization
Improve production efficiency
Build SOPs for:
Tracking
Reporting
Stock planning
Required Skills
Strong Excel / Google Sheets (must)
Pivot tables
Basic formulas (VLOOKUP, SUMIF)
Understanding of fashion production cycle
Good analytical thinking
High ownership & follow-up skills
Attention to detail (very important)
Good to Have
Experience in D2C
Experience with apparel SKUs & sizing logic
