Purpose & Scope
The Production Packing Coordinator (2 Year – Apparel Experience required) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all customer-specific packaging and packing requirements throughout the production process. This role ensures full compliance with retailer standards, regulatory requirements, and company expectations while maintaining clear communication between factories, sales, production, and customer service teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of customer packaging requirements, including Clubs, Discounters, and Specialty retailers.
- Prepare packing instructions to factories seasonally to make sure they are within store requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and overseas factories regarding packaging and packing specifications.
- Communicate daily with overseas factories to ensure packaging compliance and production alignment.
- Manage and monitor retailer packing manuals to ensure adherence to current standards, updates, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve packaging during inline and final inspections to ensure compliance prior to shipment.
- Track and monitor shipments departing from factories to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Collaborate daily with:
- Sales regarding sales orders
- Production regarding factory purchase orders
- Customer Service regarding warehousing and order fulfillment
- Ensure packaging requirements are met at every stage of the production lifecycle.
Experience:
- Production & Packing – 2 years (Required)
- Apparel Industry Experience – 2 years (Required)
