Production & Sourcing Manager Jobs in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands at LESTRANGE

Title: Production & Sourcing Manager

Company: LESTRANGE

Location: Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands

The Role

We're looking for an organised and operationally focused Production & Sourcing Manager to join our Amsterdam-based team. Working closely with our Amsterdam founder day-to-day, this is a hands-on role managing the relationship between L'Estrange and our production partners across Europe and the Far East.

You'll own the supply chain end-to-end: managing supplier relationships, holding partners accountable to deadlines and quality standards, keeping production running on time and on budget, and leading all elements of the critical path.

You have a sharp eye for detail, a calm head under pressure, and the confidence to push back when things slip.

This is a full-time role based in Amsterdam, with equity participation and a clear path to Head of Production as the brand grows and the team builds around you.

What You’ll Do

Supplier Management

  • Own the day-to-day relationship with our primary production partner in Weesp, ensuring clear communication, accountability and on-time delivery
  • Manage and develop relationships with EU and Far East suppliers – onboarding, performance reviews, ongoing correspondence
  • Act as the primary point of contact between L’Estrange and external production partners
  • Hold suppliers accountable to agreed T&Cs, timelines and quality standards

Production Coordination

  • Manage and maintain the critical path for each season, tracking against deadlines and flagging risks early
  • Coordinate weekly production check-ins, driving dates and resolving blockers
  • Place and track bulk purchase orders, liaising with the London team on timing and quantities
  • Oversee QC processes and material testing, ensuring issues are escalated and resolved promptly

Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with the wider L’Estrange team (London-based) on production status, delays and delivery updates
  • Maintain accurate production documentation, WIP trackers and supplier records
  • Identify and flag process inefficiencies, proposing practical improvements

The Ideal Candidate

  • 4–6 years’ experience in production, buying or supply chain coordination within fashion or apparel
  • Confident managing external supplier relationships – clear, direct and organised in communications
  • Strong understanding of garment production processes, critical path management and QC
  • Experience working with EU and/or Far East suppliers
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail – comfortable managing multiple moving parts simultaneously
  • A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership and follows through
  • Strong communicator in English (Dutch a bonus but not required)
  • Digitally fluent – Google Suite, Excel, comfortable with shared production tools
  • Genuine interest in sustainable and circular fashion practices
