As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair care services to our clients while creating a welcoming and enjoyable salon experience. You will utilize your skills in hair styling, color theory, and customer service to help clients achieve their desired looks and maintain their hair health.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques to offer clients innovative options.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations according to salon standards.
Utilize salon software such as Vagaro for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet salon goals.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up communications.
Skills
Proficient in hair styling techniques with a strong understanding of color theory.
Experience with clipper cuts is preferred.
Knowledge of retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive salon atmosphere.
Familiarity with salon software systems such as Vagaro is advantageous.
Ability to sanitize tools and maintain hygiene standards effectively.
