Position Overview: As a Beautician at Sterling Ridge Senior Living, you will provide professional beauty services tailored to our senior residents. Your role is vital in enhancing their well-being, confidence, and sense of self-care. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with seniors, stays updated on beauty trends, and thrives in creating meaningful connections with residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a variety of beauty services, including haircuts, hairstyling, color treatments, perms, manicures, pedicures, and light makeup application.
Create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for residents.
Consult with residents to understand their preferences and needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe salon space in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Build trusting and positive relationships with residents and their families.
Stay updated on senior-friendly beauty techniques and trends.
Qualifications:
Valid cosmetology license (as required by the state).
Proven experience as a Beautician, preferably with senior clients.
Compassionate, patient, and friendly demeanor.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of safety standards and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
