Responsibilities:
– Provide professional hair care services to clients based on their needs and preferences
– Perform haircuts, coloring, styling, and treatments following salon standards
– Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques to offer innovative services
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and salon equipment
– Build and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
– Upsell salon products and services to clients
Skills:
– Proficiency in barbering techniques
– Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients
– Knowledge of retail math for product sales
– Experience with straight razor shaving for grooming services
– Understanding of color theory for hair coloring treatments
– Ability to assist with store management tasks as needed
– Familiarity with front desk operations for appointment scheduling and client management
– Knowledge of nail care services is a plus
– Capability for mentoring junior stylists in skill development
– Experience using MINDBODY or similar salon software for bookings and client management
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour
