Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The Barber will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients.
Duties
Perform a variety of barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and grooming treatments.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend styles that suit their needs.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and inventory tracking.
Assist in store management tasks including inventory control and product displays.
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Mentor junior barbers or apprentices in techniques and best practices as needed.
Stay updated on trends in hair styling, color theory, nail care, makeup application, and eyelash extensions to offer clients the latest services.
Skills
Proficient in barbering techniques with a strong understanding of color theory.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of salon software for efficient appointment management and record keeping.
Familiarity with retail math for product sales and inventory management.
Ability to mentor others effectively, sharing knowledge and skills within the team.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation practices in all services provided.
Experience or certification in makeup application and nail care is a plus.
