Backed by a 50,000㎡ precision manufacturing base, we focus on luxury hardware, jewelry components and fashion accessories. We are hiring an experienced Product Design Manager for our New York team to lead local design, improve design systems and maintain partnerships with leading North American luxury brands.
About the Role
Based in New York, you will oversee end-to-end design for North American luxury clients and act as the key liaison between China HQ and the U.S. market. You will independently manage hardware and jewelry design projects, align creations with local luxury aesthetics and brand positioning, deliver professional solutions, upgrade product lines and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Create tailored designs for local luxury products by integrating regional trends, market needs and brand styles, covering original styling, structural optimization and sample development.
- Run design projects independently, present concepts and compile documents for clients; oversee the full process from draft, prototype to production to meet brand and production requirements.
- Monitor luxury design trends, new materials, craftsmanship and competitors to iterate product lines and strengthen design competitiveness.
- Coordinate with China HQ, local sales and production teams across time zones to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with U.S. safety rules, industry and brand standards; optimize design workflows and resources for standardized operations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of product design experience in luxury jewelry, fashion or hardware. U.S./North American luxury market experience is required; knowledge of local top brands is preferred.
- Skilled in CAD, Rhino, PS, AI and other design & rendering tools. Familiar with product structure, materials, craftsmanship and production, capable of handling full-cycle design independently.
- Experienced in cross-border & cross-timezone teamwork; past collaboration with Chinese teams is a plus.
- Fluent in English (required); Mandarin is advantageous.
Required Skills
You possess solid client communication, presentation and problem-solving skills, with a good grasp of North American luxury aesthetics and brand logic. You have great taste, creativity and attention to detail, able to deliver high-quality work under pressure. You adapt well to time differences, excel in cross-cultural communication and can convert client needs into market-oriented designs.
