Job Summary
Lead the upgrade, enhancement and rollout of the regional ERP in Asia under the supervision of the Regional Finance & Accounting Director. Be the representative of the accounting team by working closely with the co-lead IS-Business Operations Manager and along with the different markets accounting heads and external consultants. In charge of the master data control and maintenance, and process improvement and documentation.
Role & Responsibilities
A. Project management and design
Manage the overall project timeline and project status
Evaluate outputs by external consultant to ensure user expectations are met
Coordinate and co-lead regular project meeting with IS team, update steering committee and stakeholders on the project status
Be the key contact point for each accounting centres in the regional (including Greater China, SEAO and Korea and Japan to consolidate input from each accounting centre)
Communicate with business users and follow up with IS&T (internal) and consultants (external) on project support and issue resolutions
Align with Finance BPO and IS&T in participating the design of the solutions and workflow in adequacy with the users’ specifications
Provide functional analysis of business requirements and take part in improvement process and project assignments
Propose functional guidance and options to Finance BPO and IT team for possible system improvement
Collect and consolidate Finance & Accounting team’s requirement regarding to financial systems
B. Testing and Training
Lead key user to perform application testing and work with IS&T on UAT and regression test
Be the key contact (user) and work with IS&T and external consultants on key users training
Design end user training plan, develop training material and identify training needs
Prepare and maintain documentation of procedures, user test cases, user manuals and troubleshooting cases with associated resolutions
Provide training to the End users and New users
Maintain the Operation manuals for Finance & Accounting team
Key contact on operations enquiry to support all End Users in the region
C. Process improvement and documentation
Drive the process change to reduce redundancy, backlog and standardization
Document the key functions, roles & responsibilities, control steps for the new system
Key support to validate change request and provide concrete justification
D. Master data control and maintenance
Review and update system parameters, such as vendor master, chart of accounts, cost center code in a timely and accurate manner
Communicate the parameters information to users
Other ad hoc tasks assigned
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in supporting Microsoft Dynamics D365 (AX) or other similar applications
University graduate in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines, with experience in finance system implementation and system upgrade
Experience in regional application project implementation and support
Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Other languages would be an advantage (French or other Asian languages)
Excellent analytical and organization skills
Possess strong communication skills, business acumen, and problem-solving skills; stakeholder management skill is essential
Details orientated, good analytical skills and effective timing management
Experience in retail industry is a plus.
