THE ROLE

The Social-First PR Associate is the operational engine of communications and influencer program. You'll work directly with the Head of PR & Partnerships and sit at the intersection of earned media, influencer relations, and brand activations – owning the day-to-day execution that turns strategy into coverage.

This is not a traditional PR associate role. You won't be spending your days writing press releases and compiling reports. You'll be pitching stories that are built to travel on social, managing influencer relationships that drive organic amplification, and showing up on the ground at activations to capture content and drive real-time press pickup. If you still think of PR and social as separate functions, this isn't the role for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Press & Media Relations

  • Support earned media pitching across fashion, lifestyle, business, and culture pressMaintain and grow media contact database; keep relationships warm through consistent touchpoints
  • Assist in developing press assets, pitch decks, and communication collateral for launches and brand moments
  • Monitor press coverage daily; compile coverage reports and recaps for weekly updates
  • Manage press calendar in line with brand and activation calendar
  • Influencer & Gifting Coordinate always-on media and celebrity gifting program end to end: pipeline management, outreach, tracking, and reporting
  • Monitor organic brand moments from influencers and notable buyers; flag opportunities for real-time amplification
  • Support SOW development and partnership coordination as directed
  • Activation Support
  • On-the-ground support activations including the Titty Clinic bus (NYFW, Art Basel, and beyon
  • Drive real-time content capture, social posting, and press and influencer amplification during even
  • Coordinate logistics and vendor communication in support of activation execution
  • Cross-Functional & Administration
  • Collaborate with creative, social, and marketing teams to ensure PR assets and messaging are aligned
  • Manage incoming press and partnership inquiries
  • Support scheduling and coordination with internal team and external partners

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING

  • 2–4 years of experience in PR, influencer marketing, or brand communications: in-house at a consumer brand or agency side, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle preferred
  • A social-first mindset: you pitch stories thinking about how they'll travel, you know which journalists and editors have audiences that engage, and you understand the difference between press that gets published and press that gets shared
  • Existing relationships with fashion and lifestyle press contacts and/or influencer talent is a strong
  • Strong writer – pitches, recaps, and captions all come naturally and qui
  • Highly organized and self-directed; able to manage a high-volume pipeline across multiple simultaneous workstr
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and no two weeks look the

$55,000 – $65,000 base salary
