This role will be based in Paris or Seoul.
Responsibilities
Based on the company’s overall strategic planning and business development needs, responsible for the qualification review and onboarding of new suppliers, as well as order management for existing suppliers.
Integrate internal and external resources, maintain relationships with core suppliers, secure channel resources, and ensure the timely execution of purchasing plans to achieve order and sales targets.
Oversee all local operations and planning, take responsibility for purchasing volume, sales revenue, labor efficiency, and complete the sales budget.
Stay ahead of fashion trends, proactively guide and promote opportunistic purchasing across various categories to continuously meet consumer demand for quality goods.
Perform other tasks as needed based on business and management requirements.
Requirements
Industry expert with extensive brand and supplier resources, with experience in sourcing for categories such as maternity and baby products, footwear and bags, apparels, sporting goods, affordable luxury, and mainstream fashion products – particularly discount brand products.
Familiar with cross-border e-commerce business processes and policies, with sharp market insight, strong judgment, excellent communication and coordination skills, and expertise in supplier negotiation.
Proficient in English and Chinese (speaking, reading, writing and listening) in order to liaise with Chinese counterparts in HQ.
