JOB DESCRIPTION (Quality Production Manager)
Job Summary:
Mid-South Window Fashions is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Production Manager to join our dynamic team. The Quality Production Manager will oversee and coordinate the production in conjunction with the management team within our organization. This position requires strong ability to be a team player and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Prior Quality Control experience is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and supervise production orders before being scanned into the next department, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary to the personnel in charge of product assembly.
· Supervise the daily activities of production orders ensuring accuracy, punctuality, and compliance with quality control policies.
· Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues related to production numbers, order discrepancies, damaged products, or shipping delays.
· Implement and maintain product quality procedures and standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
· Maintain control so the area where production orders are placed in, is clean and organized, ensuring proper storage and handling of the product.
· Stay updated with each production order that goes out to the floor, so they don’t get lost.
Other Qualifications:
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Minimum of one year of lead or management experience in Quality Control.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficient in using Data Entering Software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office and Excel.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, adapting to changing priorities.
Availability to stay late when necessary.
Strong skills to become an authentic team player, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
