Reality-Style Video Editor + Footage Coordinator — Weekly Docuseries Jobs in Remote at Sun and Sky Entertainment
A weekly docuseries production is looking for a reliable, fast video editor to cut approximately 30 minutes of finished content per week in the style of premium reality / docuseries programming. Ongoing engagement, remote-friendly, 24-hour turnaround expected after each week’s footage arrives.
The role has two parts.
Part 1 — Footage Coordination (throughout the week)
– Receive and inventory all incoming media from mixed sources: iPhone footage, professional cameras, drone, screen recordings, audio, still images
– Categorize footage by shoot day, location, story beat, and end use
– Flag social-media-ready clips separately from long-form episode footage
– Maintain a running project bin so the weekly cut can begin fast
Part 2 — Weekly Edit
– Cut approximately 30 minutes of finished reality-style episode content per week
– Reality/doc aesthetic: naturalistic pacing, character-driven storytelling, on-the-road energy
– Deliver polished final within 24 hours of the week’s footage being complete (edit throughout the week as footage arrives — whatever workflow is easiest)
Requirements
– Proven reality or docuseries editing reel (link required)
– Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve fluency
– Solid file organization and media management habits
– Fast, calm, and communicative under weekly deadlines
– Remote setup with proven ability to move large media files
– Available for weekly delivery cadence over an ongoing engagement
Nice to have
– Sports content experience
– Motion graphics and lower-third design
– Sound design and basic mixing
Monthly deliverables
– 4 finished episodes (~30 min each)
– Organized, running project bins across the season
– Occasional short-form clips as flagged (bundled with monthly rate)
