The roleAs receptionist, you will work in our London Group Head Office representing our brand. You will be the first point of contact for those visiting the office, the role directly and positively impacts all colleagues, visitors and facilities team within the office. The role is key to our ability to ‘do business’ efficiently – making it a great place to work. The target being to ensure all visitors and colleagues to our site have a great day-to-day experience and to deliver a high standard of hospitality and customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be a proactive member of the Facilities team greeting all visitors, ensuring they have a warm welcome and all needs are met whilst overseeing the Sky Visitor system

You will be ordering office equipment and brand specific items and booking catering and lunches for directors when required

We will expect you to be answering the phone and directing calls and taking messages whilst being responsible for the management and efficient operation of the reception, meeting rooms and entrance facilities on site

You will be managing meeting and conference room bookings and ensuring reception and meeting rooms are tidy and liaise with cleaners to ensure standards are met

We love a sample sale here at Boohoo and you will be responsible for the assistance in ensuring these are set up and organised

We have 2 great founders at Boohoo and a great senior leadership team. There will be times you have to assist their PAs when required

We have a great new showroom opening soon and you will be responsible in ensuring world class standards are being kept.

Health & Safety Responsibilities{{{{:}}}}

As Front of House, you will be expected to{{{{:}}}}

Understand and play an active role in fire procedure including evacuation of persons (this may include personal evacuation plans)

Report accident incidents and be fully aware of the first aid policy and procedures

First aid certification would be desirable but not essential

Understand and follow our internal contractor controls

Liaise with security for visitor and employee access to site

Understand and be prepared to action any invacuation processes in place

Take an active role in ensuring Housekeeping of the areas is kept to a high standard

Fully understands the fire, emergency and health & safety procedures of the workplace

Ensures that all potential and real hazards are taken care of immediately, and are reported appropriately.

Coordinate contractors carrying out planned maintenance works

Identify and report any facilities issues to the relevant department
