In this role, you’ll deliver high‑quality hair services in a safe, welcoming environment tailored to the unique needs of our senior residents. Responsibilities

  • Provide thorough consultations, haircuts, styling, chemical treatments, and related services tailored for senior residents.
  • Offer gentle, patient care, always considering mobility, comfort, and individual needs.
  • Educate residents on age‑appropriate hair care and maintenance practices.
  • Stay up to date on classic and current hair techniques that cater to mature hair, including perms, roller sets, and teasing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary salon space in compliance with health standards and State Board Guidelines.
  • Build meaningful relationships while maintaining a warm, professional presence within the community.

Qualifications

  • Current Cosmetology License (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years of licensed experience in cosmetology.
  • Experience working with senior clientele preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in haircutting, styling, and chemical services.
  • Strong attention to detail and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring, empathetic demeanor.
  • A genuine desire to uplift others through service and connection.

Sign‑On Bonus

  • 25% ($250) after successful completion of the 90‑day probationary period. Requires completion of required CARES certification (if applicable), demonstration of successful adherence to RSS paperwork protocols, and effective utilization of RSS systems.
  • 25% ($250) after completion of 6 months of employment with RSS. Must be in good standing and adhere to all RSS policies and protocols.
  • 50% ($500) after completion of 1 year of employment with RSS. Must remain in good standing and continue to meet all RSS performance expectations, policies, and protocols.
  • Bonus installments may be withheld if the employee is not in good standing, voluntarily resigns, or is terminated prior to completing one year of employment.
