Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence: Oversee all front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) service operations, ensuring the Club runs flawlessly during all service periods.

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and lead the service team (sommeliers, chefs de rang, waiters, bartenders), instilling a culture of discretion, professionalism, and proactive service anticipation.

Service Standards: Define and enforce world-class service procedures, consistently monitoring performance to ensure the highest standards of luxury hospitality are maintained.

Financial & Inventory Management: Manage labor costs, track sales, oversee inventory, and optimize operational spending to meet budgetary targets.

Client Relations: Handle all guest interactions, special requests, and any rare complaints with tact, professionalism, and utmost discretion, fostering strong, personalized relationships with VIP clientele.

Venue Presentation: Ensure the physical environment, including seating arrangements, lighting, music, and cleanliness, is immaculate and perfectly aligned with the Club’s sophisticated atmosphere.

Cross-Departmental Synergy: Coordinate closely with the Executive Chef, Bar Manager, and the JNcQUOI Lisboa management team to ensure cohesive and unified service delivery.
We are looking for a highly polished professional who thrives in a demanding, exclusive environment:

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of management experience in a high-end, fine-dining restaurant, private club, or 5-star luxury hotel environment.

Leadership: Proven ability to manage, inspire, and develop a large, diverse team in a high-pressure setting.

Discretion & Etiquette: Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven track record of handling confidential client information and sensitive situations with absolute discretion.

Food & Beverage Expertise: Deep knowledge of fine dining standards, wine service, and cocktail preparation.

Financial Acumen: Strong grasp of restaurant P&L, inventory control, and cost management.

Language: Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory; proficiency in a third language (e.g., French, Spanish) is highly valued.

Availability: Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
