Top Fashions in Naperville, IL is looking for one retail assistant general manager to join our 27 person strong team. We are located on 233 South Main Street, 60540. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.
Responsibilities
*Plan, coordinate and direct business operations to ensure the achievement of company revenue goals and documentation of expenses staff. * Develop, outline and implement plans and strategies to increase the profitability of company products and services * Develop and initiate strategies to maintain employee productivity, evaluate performance and improve the quality of products and services * Document and provide employee, business and expense reports to senior-level management * “Customer Experience” focused. Ensure outstanding customer service is achieved through staff training and leading by example. Be customer obsessed. * Provide feedback and make recommendations that increase the success of marketing efforts and the effectiveness of current marketing strategies at reaching target markets * Proactively communicate local events to the General Manager, Director of Sales and the Creative Director that can potentially increase store traffic and revenue * Schedule and lead staff meetings to discuss updates, issues, feedback and to create solutions to issues that come up within the company’s operations * Train, develop and mentor Key Holders and staff to grow into next roles * Train, guide and coach employees and evaluate their performance and productivity in completing their job duties * Recruiting, hiring, training and evaluating employees and ensure staff complies with company policy and procedures * Oversee “back of house” operations with stockroom supervisor/assistant * Manage scheduling, payroll and staffing needs for the store based on business needs and budgeted hours * Oversee pricing and stock control * Key holder. Responsible for open and/or closing store location. * Provide a safe and clean environment for customers and staff. * Be proficient at all retail operations of the POS system * Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Ensure compliance of all company policy and procedures. * Open availability on weekends and holidays are expected.
Qualifications
*3 yrs retail experience and 2 yrs retail management experience needed. *High school diploma req. *Great communication skills.
