Our client is a prestigious luxury brand and they are looking for a Retail Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities
Drive sales performance across assigned retail locations, setting and achieving revenue targets while enhancing overall profitability. Utilize sales data and market insights to develop strategies that optimize performance.
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing retail team, ensuring that staff members are knowledgeable about products and embody the brand’s luxury service standards. Foster a positive and motivating workplace culture that encourages excellence.
Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently delivered across all locations, creating memorable shopping experiences that enhance brand loyalty. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Oversee visual merchandising standards to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and to create an appealing shopping environment. Plan and execute promotional displays and campaigns that attract customers and drive sales.
Manage inventory levels effectively, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory. Collaborate closely with supply chain and logistics teams to coordinate stock replenishment and manage seasonal transitions.
Conduct thorough market research to understand consumer preferences, industry trends, and the competitive landscape within the APAC region. Provide insights and actionable recommendations to senior management regarding market opportunities and challenges.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards in all retail operations. Monitor and manage operational costs, implementing strategies to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory status, and team effectiveness for senior management. Utilize data analytics to drive strategic decisions and improve store operations, identifying areas for growth and development.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is essential; an MBA or relevant certifications in retail management are advantageous.
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in retail management, ideally within the luxury sector, with a demonstrated focus on the APAC market. A proven track record of driving sales growth and managing high-performing teams is crucial.
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and develop staff. Experience in performance coaching and conducting evaluations is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective relationship-building with clients and team members. The ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels is important.
A deep understanding of luxury retail trends and consumer behavior in the APAC region, with the ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse client needs and preferences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in utilizing data to inform business decisions and drive operational improvements.
Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to leverage technology for efficient operations and reporting.
Cultural awareness and sensitivity to the diverse markets within the APAC region, with the ability to adapt management styles to effectively engage with various teams and clientele.
