JOB PURPOSE
To support product category manager’s merchandising activities in the assigned geographic area. To support process daily analysis in terms of sales, trends and characteristics of clients guaranteeing periodic presence in the store of his/her geographic area. The role reports to the Retail Merchandising Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Update and provide quantitative information on monthly sales targets, stock delivery situation, and new merchandise delivery situation to all shops
Assist in preparing, checking, and approving refills, and special merchandise transfer for all shop locations
Prepare stock requisition to ensure timely delivery of merchandise for all shop locations
Assist in buying and selection of merchandise for designated product line(s)
Co-ordinate with relevant departments to ensure that the shops are properly and sufficiently merchandised at all times
Assist in preparing product training material and conduct product training if needed
Compile ad hoc report and perform analysis as needed
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Economic, analytical/numerical background, combined with a knowledge of the world of fashion/luxury and products
Similar 1-3 year experience in this role
Fashion/luxury-oriented and knowledge of Retail basic principles
Familiar with SAP system and MS office especially Excel
Strong sensitivity and aesthetic sense
Passion for international context and for the various social and cultural contexts
Very fluent in Korean language
Good command of English language and preferably of a second language
