Edgar’s Bakery & Cafe is seeking Retail Merchandising Specialist
The Retail Merchandising Specialist visits assigned retail stores to maximize awareness and sales of company’s products. The specialist will confirm that the store is displaying the product in the proper quantity and placement according to brand specifics. Additionally, they build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, and works closely with sales associates and managers to notify them of future promotions, new products or changes in pricing structure.
Position Responsibilities:
- Drives sales and profitability through proper merchandising and overall presentation
- Setup new displays as needed
- Ensure displays are clean and presentable to customers. Will require dusting and wiping down of displays as needed
- Assist in new store set-ups, changeovers and store remodels
- Assist with special projects
- Maintains inventory by restocking shelves with product from inventory; observing inventory levels; prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low; arranging for return and credit for damaged products
- Place orders with vendors
