The role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the team’s performance to achieve overall sales and business targets, goals, and objectives through effective people and business management.

Responsibilities

Analyze market trends, monitor competitive activities, and assess customer preferences to inform business strategies.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactical plans to drive growth and performance.

Plan, organize, and oversee all business activities within the assigned region/team.

Ensure the development and execution of comprehensive region business plans.

Manage and achieve region sales targets by evaluating and improving the performance of Pharmacy Detailing Specialists through data-driven analysis.

Conduct regular performance monitoring and build strong relationships with Key Accounts.

Recruit qualified Pharmacy Detailing Specialists candidates by adhering to proper screening and hiring procedures.

Prepare and train Pharmacy Detailing Specialists to meet ambitious sales goals and business growth objectives.

Discuss Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conduct periodic performance reviews and evaluations.

Conduct joint field visits with Pharmacy Detailing Specialists and provide coaching on product knowledge and effective detailing.

Deliver ongoing on-the-job training and coaching to ensure continuous improvement.

Motivate, coach, counsel, and implement disciplinary actions when necessary to maintain team performance.

Identify individual developmental needs and support the career growth and aspirations of Pharmacy Detailing Specialists.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales management, with at least three (3) years in a managerial role within a sales-driven or pharmaceutical organization.
