Purpose of the Job

The Retail Planner, will be responsible for tracking inventory and bringing in new products based on predicted needs for customers. They’re a liaison between the customer, supply chain, marketing , buying department, ensuring what the customer wants is available.

Key Result Areas for the Incumbent

Process Responsibilities

· Ensuring effective Inventory management (optimum stock utilization, stock return)

· Review and analyze, articulate, and solve complex problems related to stock and sales and concepts to make effective business decisions

· Review and effectively deal with fast / slow lines, new ranges and end of ranges and implement necessary action

· Ensuring roll-out of new store openings and timely dispatches

· Monitoring Category wise performance against plan and highlighting insights in a timely manner.

People Management Responsibilities

· Work with retail team to provide details of order fulfillment to the respective buyer/distributor/ EBOs/ MBOs.

· Work with ZMs /RMs and Key account Managers for day to day grievances

· Monitor Targets vs. Achievements, stock allocations and dispatches

· Ensuring advance planning for Marketing Events at store/Promotions

· Monitoring Inventory at the DC

· Targets vs. Achievements

· Stock availability as per the set target.

· Executing Marketing Events at store/Promotions/EOSS

The candidate would have to interact and manage the following stakeholders

Work closely with the leaderships of biba & the channel partner to analyze the stock effeciency

Work closely with supply chain & Logistic partners to ensure timely delivery of stock

In order to be considered for the role the ideal candidate should also have:

Leadership skills / Communication skills / Negotiation skills/ commercial Acumen/ process management

Product merchendising background is preferred
