Retail Planning Strategist Jobs in Bengaluru South, Karnataka, India at Koskii
Title: Retail Planning Strategist
Company: Koskii
Location: Bengaluru South, Karnataka, India
We're hiring: Retail Planning Strategist @ Koskii
Most planning roles ask you to make sense of a spreadsheet.
This one asks you to make sense of ₹30–35 Cr of inventory across 30+ stores — and then walk onto the shop floor and fix what you found.
About Koskii 🪷
Bootstrapped to ₹100 Cr. Raised our Series A in 2023. Compounding at ~40% a year since. Today we're ₹200 Cr+, 30 stores across 8 cities, and scaling fast toward ₹1,000 Cr in the next 5 years.
We make ethnic and occasion wear for the moments people remember for life weddings, festivals, the big days. And we need someone who can make sure the right product is in the right store at exactly the right time.
Why this role won't feel like your last one:
📊 You don't just diagnose, you decide. Category mix, price-point mix, what moves where, and why.
🏬 Real scale, real ownership. ₹30–35 Cr of live inventory across 30+ stores, from day one. Not a training-wheels seat.
🚀 We're still building the playbook. As Koskii scales 5x, the systems and calls you make will shape how planning works here for years.
💡 We've learned what doesn't work. We've seen brilliant analysts who stop at the pivot table. We've seen floor operators with no data discipline. If you're someone who does both, finds the problem in the numbers and drives the fix in stores, this is built for you.
What you'll actually own:
✅ Store-level category & assortment planning
✅ Inter-store inventory movement
✅ Margin & discount strategy
✅ Seasonal resets across Festive, Bridal, BAU, EOSS
✅ New store planning intelligence
✅ Inventory health, cover & turns (target: 4-6x annually)
✅ Bestseller governance
✅ A cohort of store planners, working shoulder-to-shoulder with ops, merchandising & buying
You'll thrive here if:
→ 4+ years in merchandise planning, retail ops, or allocation (fashion/apparel preferred)
→ You know OTB, GMROI, ROS-based planning, and option planning cold
→ You've been close enough to a shop floor to know how stores actually behave
→ Your instinct is "here's what we do Monday, and who owns it", not just a slide of insights
→ Bonus: you've worked in ethnic, occasion, or bridal wear
What you get:
Real ownership from day one. A brand that customers already love. Problems worth your mind omnichannel attribution, scaling spend without breaking efficiency, balancing online growth against store footfall. And a seat at the table as we 5x the business.
