Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers with selecting lawn care tools, gardening supplies, floral arrangements, and landscape maintenance products
- Offer expert advice on horticulture, floral design, and landscaping techniques to meet customer needs
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, transactions, and receipts
- Stock shelves efficiently, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean and well-merchandised
- Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and inventory checks using retail math skills
- Communicate product features and benefits clearly in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
Qualifications
- Passion for gardening, horticulture, floral design, or outdoor maintenance is highly desirable
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist customers and collaborate with team members
- Organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain attractive displays
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging with a diverse customer base
