WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Someone who is genuinely into this. Running, walking, hiking, racing, lifting, any endurance sport. If you already know what it feels like to finally find the right shoe, you are most of the way there. We will teach you gait analysis and the technical side of fitting. We cannot teach you to care.
We are a small, independent, community focused run specialty store. Our customers come to us in pain or chasing a goal, and they leave with something that actually works for their body. That is the whole job.
OUR STORE HOURS
Monday through Friday: 10:00am to 6:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am to 5:00pm
Sunday: 11:00am to 5:00pm
This is a full-time position and we schedule inside those hours. Weekends are our busiest days, and every full-time person works at least one weekend day every week as part of their regular schedule. Please read that twice before you apply. It is the number one reason a hire does not work out here.
WHAT YOU WOULD ACTUALLY DO
Fit customers properly. Talk to them, watch them walk, measure their feet, and put them in the right shoe.
Sell honestly. Solve the problem first, then recommend what else helps: socks, insoles, recovery tools, apparel.
Kneel down and lace up shoe after shoe, all day, and stay cheerful doing it.
Keep the floor and the stockroom sharp. Restock, retie, rewrap, and put every shoe back exactly where it lives.
Show up for your team on weekends and through busy stretches.
Help us grow the running community here. Group runs, local races, and the occasional customer story for our social media.
WHAT WE OFFER
$19.00 per hour to start, with merit raises as you grow into the role

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
2 or more years of paid customer facing sales or service experience
Full-time availability inside our store hours above, including at least one weekend day every week
Available year round, including the holiday season and spring race season. This is not a seasonal job.
Reliable transportation to our Queen Creek store
The ability to do the physical parts of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation: on your feet most of a shift, kneeling and bending repeatedly to fit and lace shoes, reaching and climbing a step ladder to pull stock, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds
A real interest in running, fitness, or foot health, or the drive to learn it quickly
