Role Description This full-time, on-site Retail Sales Specialist role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Retail Sales Specialist will welcome and engage customers, provide personalized styling advice, and guide them through the modular nature of Marfa Stance garments and accessories. Responsibilities include driving sales, managing customer queries, handling transactions, and maintaining an organized, visually compelling retail environment that reflects the brand’s identity. The role involves learning and communicating detailed product features, sustainability attributes, and styling combinations to help customers build versatile wardrobes. The Retail Sales Specialist will also support stock management, participate in in-store events, and collaborate with the wider team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to build trusting relationships and deliver a welcoming, inclusive in-store experience.
- Candidates should possess solid Retail Sales and Product Knowledge skills to effectively present the modular collection and convert customer interest into sales.
- Candidates should possess clear, confident Communication skills to explain garment features, sustainability aspects, and styling options in a concise and engaging way.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail and basic visual merchandising skills to maintain product displays and store presentation standards.
- Previous experience in fashion retail or premium/luxury retail is beneficial, along with familiarity with sustainable or modular fashion concepts.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak trading periods, and to stand for extended periods on the shop floor.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems, handling cash/card transactions, and following store policies and procedures.
- Interest in style, garment construction, and long-lasting wardrobe solutions, with a proactive, collaborative approach to working in a small, growing team.
