What are we currently hiring for?

We’re hiring for our first GlowTerra retail store in Nakheel Circle Mall in JVC area of Dubai, UAE with a launch timing of early August. Hires will be made in advance of this store launch (June/July) to allow for training and onboarding. The Retail Store Manager will be supported by a small team of Beauty Advisors and Sales Assistants. As a member and leader of this initial team for store #1, you will be collectively responsible for driving the overall success of our first GlowTerra location and scripting history as one of the founding team members of the company.

Key Accountabilities:

Own the success of the store, our customers and the team.

Deliver/ exceed store targets around customer satisfaction, sales/ demand generation, profitability, employee satisfaction and operational excellence.

Be a shining example of professional behavior and high performance.

Customer satisfaction: deliver a world-class, ‘wow’ in-store experience for customers; ensure GlowTerra staff are trained immaculately well to greet, assist and support customer needs and be seen as product/ category champions; find solutions to customer problems and address any customer feedback or complaints in a professional way. The key goal is to ensure we’re creating delighted and returning customers.

Sales and Demand generation: Motivating the team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff; Creating business strategies to attract new customers and expand store traffic; Follow proper schedules for sales promotions centered on holiday sales and other cycles; Seek creative ways, such as tenant and influencer collaborations to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store.

Profitability ownership: Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability; Review portfolio mix in-store to ensure we’re driving up profitability and driving down customer acquisition costs over time. Meet profitability goals.

Employee Satisfaction: Manage employee schedules to ensure we have full coverage during store hours; Build performance growth plans and targets for each individual employee to ensure they are challenged, growing and learning; Ensure the variable compensation plan is constantly being reviewed and improved to drive the best employee behaviors and business performance; Ensure a positive working environment compliant with not only all local laws but also the company’s values, procedures and code of conduct.

Operational excellence: Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with brand teams to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals; Manage employee schedules to ensure the store is always staffed and promptly meeting mall guidelines; Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
