We currently have an opportunity for a Packaging (Creative/Flexo) Retoucher to join our team, performing a key role within one of our UK based teams and will be based out of our Southend-on-Sea office. You will need to have a minimum of 2 years experience within reprographics retouching in the print/packaging industry and the ability to utilise Illustrator for packaging artwork purposes.
The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work quickly and accurately under pressure to tight deadlines. Using the industry standard applications by Adobe along with the Apple operating system you will retouch to a high standard and help ensure brand consistency. You will have a good understanding of working with client/brand/printer guidelines. Full in-house training will be given in reference to working processes and specific client/brand guidelines and our JPG QC tools within our own MIS system.
Role Summary:
Working with client & range specific guidelines
Following the JPG workflows and systems
Retouching quality packaging artwork images
Working on multiple different accounts (full training given)
Quickly adapting at times to meet clients requirements
Keeping the JPG high quality standards

A solid understanding of reprographics retouching, including flexo retouching
Good knowledge of all print production processes
Some knowledge of artwork using Illustrator
