Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented RTW Production Intern to support our production team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the luxury RTW fashion industry. The ideal candidate will assist in various aspects of the production process, learning about garment construction, quality control, and the coordination required to produce high-end fashion collections. Strong performance during the internship leads to a job opportunity within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating the manufacturing process from initial concept through final delivery.
Participate in quality control checks to ensure garments meet the brand’s high standards of craftsmanship and finish.
Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to track orders, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products.
Help manage and organise production materials, including fabrics, trims, and other components.
Maintain accurate production records and assist in preparing reports on production status, timelines, and any issues encountered.
Assist in the organisation and tracking of samples, ensuring they are properly documented and distributed for fittings and reviews.
Support the production and design teams during fittings, taking notes and helping with garment adjustments as needed.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of garment construction and production processes.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop ) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
