Sales AssistantSteve Silver Company is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global Furniture industry. Our sales staff is made up of experienced leaders with2-4 years of office experienceand2-4 years of experience as a sales staff member. We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our Forney, TX location.
Job Duties:
Develop and maintain customer relationships
Maintain product knowledge by reading technical journals, technical literature, and customer related correspondence
Act as the liaison between the manufacturing and customer sides of the business
Develop and maintain customer relationships
Serve as the primary contact for new business development opportunities
Develops and maintains a positive business relationship with customers by following up on all leads provided by the company and prepared by the purchasing department
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
The ability to build and maintain positive business relationships is a must, as well as the ability to communicate information effectively in writing and in person
Must possess strong organizational skills, be able to work independently, and possess excellent attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.50 – $16.50 per hour
