Sales Associate – Luxury Bespoke Fashion Jobs in New York at Dalya NYC
We are seeking a part-time Sales Associate to join our SoHo showroom team. This role is ideal for someone who loves suiting, understands luxury client service, and enjoys working closely with clients to create custom pieces.
The Sales Associate will support our lead style consultant and founder in delivering an exceptional bespoke experience while helping grow DALYA’s client base.
This is a part-time position with hourly pay plus commission.
ResponsibilitiesClient Experience & Sales
- Conduct bespoke consultations in the showroom
- Guide clients through fabric selection, design details, trims, and buttons
- Measure clients and document specifications for custom garments
- Build relationships with clients and support them through the ordering process
- Support sales goals through excellent client service
- Serve as a point of contact for client updates and follow-ups
- Coordinate fittings and assist during alteration appointments
- Maintain detailed client records and order notes in CRM
Sales Outreach
- Help identify and cultivate new client opportunities
- Maintain relationships with returning clients
- Support referral programs, events, and partnerships
Pop-Ups & Travel
- Assist with DALYA trunk shows and pop-up events in other cities
- Conduct consultations during travel appointments when required
Showroom Operations
- Maintain showroom presentation and organization
- Prepare fabric books, trims, and samples for appointments
- Support order coordination and tracking with production partners
Qualifications
- Previous luxury retail or luxury client service experience required
- Strong interest in suiting, tailoring, and personal style
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to guide clients through a consultative sales process
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Comfortable measuring clients and discussing garment construction (training provided)
- Willingness to travel occasionally for trunk shows and pop-ups
- Ability to work weekends when needed
Compensation
- Hourly base pay
- Commission on personal sales
