Did you know that certain men will fly into Chicago just to get fitted for a bespoke suit or custom shirts?
Since 2005 at Nicholas Joseph we’ve had clients that do just that – clients come in, get measured, select fabrics and styles, and we will make the clothing to their exact specifications and fit.

We are looking for a new in-house Sales/Designer to sell Tuesdays-Saturdays in River North (both in-person AND via video/virtual appointment)*
This is a commission position with average $60-70k+ in year one, $90k+ in year two and beyond.
You must possess great attention to detail, fashion knowledge in menswear and an eye for design, excellent computer and communication skills, and commitment to service.
We have a training program for all elements of the custom clothing selling process: from initial fitting and measurement to adjustments and delivery.
We are committed to continual learning, innovation, and training on the latest fabrics, styles, and sales methods and have a training program.
ABOUT YOU:
- University degree required; Fashion school is a plus
- You can engage with an upscale client base and converse easily
- Building relationships and connecting with others is a passion

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Building and cultivating relationships with customers through personal interaction
- Attention to detail is a must
- Outstanding selling behaviors, listening and responding to customer needs to deliver service
- Develop repeat business to grow personal sales
- Meeting or exceeding sales and loyalty goals
- Awareness of male fashion and dress
- Expert on product knowledge, understanding features and benefits and sharing with clients

- Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to build sales and loyalty
- Working in-house Tuesday-Saturday
