Candidate Profile

The Director of Sales candidate has the following characteristics:

· Experience in the world of mens apparel or accessories and selling to independent retailers

· Proven track record of success in direct sales and also in supporting Independent Sales Representatives (ISR)

· Experience and capacity to work remotely and independently.

· Organized, has proven ability to manage multiple projects in an orderly manner.

· Competent and proven interpersonal skill at communications, presentation and writing

· Responds to leads that will be provided and follow-up on these leads.

· Availability and experience to travel to attend select trade events; calling on customers at their retail stores; making calls with ISR when indicated; meeting at headquarters in USA and Canada when necessary.

· Experience at organizing participation at trade shows and setting up displays and booth

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with CRM tools and software such as Shopify.

Job Description

The Director of Sales will be responsible for direct sales actions and for actions supporting the team of Independent Sales Representatives (ISRs) in the USA in coordination with the Marketing / Sales Associate.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role provides onboarding to hired ISRs, ensures they have all marketing materials and product samples, meets with team members at least weekly

The Director of Sales will play an active role in marketing initiatives, and will assist with revisions to catalogs, order forms, and other marketing materials.

Work Environment

· Located within 50 miles of any airport

· A quiet, professional home office environment with internet connection sufficient for all communications.

· Ability to lift, handle and manage samples, marketing and or trade show event materials.

Compensation

· Base salary
