Reporting Line & Working Language:

– Direct Reporting (Day-to-Day): General Manager of NOTAPE Italy S.r.l.

– Strategic Reporting (Periodic Performance Review): Vice President, NOTAPE International Co., Ltd., in English.

– Working Languages: Italian (daily operations, local team) and English (reporting to parent company, global communications). Both are required.

Role Objective:

Drive commercial growth in Italy (primary focus during probation period) and broader European markets (upon successful completion of probation) by selling the full NOTAPE product portfolio: innovative tapeless zippers (NOTAPE), traditional fabric tape zippers, garment accessories, and fabrics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:

– Achieve agreed sales targets (see separate Assessment Plan) for the full product range within the assigned markets.

– Proactively identify, target, and secure new business with luxury fashion houses, high-end sportswear/outdoor brands, fabric mills, and garment manufacturers.

– Leverage existing industry network to open doors and shorten sales cycles.

2. Account & Relationship Management:

– Serve as the senior point of contact for strategic accounts.

– Understand clients' technical and creative needs to offer tailored solutions.

– Build long-term partnerships based on trust and product expertise.

3. Market Intelligence & Team Building:

– Build, recruit, and manage a specialist sales team (as the business grows and targets are met).

– Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and represent NOTAPE at trade fairs (e.g., Performance Day, FFF, TITAS).

– Provide market feedback to R&D and product development teams.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – Detailed in the separate Assessment Plan:

– Sales Target Achievement.

– Brand Development (First Mass Production Order success bonus).

– CRM and sales pipeline management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

– Experience: Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in zippers (high-end preferred) or related components to the apparel/fashion industry. Experience selling fabrics is a significant plus.

– Network: Active and relevant network of contacts within Italian (required) and European (preferred) luxury fashion, high-end sportswear, or textile supply chains.

– Skills: Strong negotiation, CRM proficiency, fluent in Italian and English (French/German a plus).

– Mindset: Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-growing, disruptive startup environment.
