The role will be based in New York and report to the Boutique Director for the 5th Ave WFJ Flagship. This position will serve as a key brand ambassador and business leader focused on delivering extraordinary experiences for internal team and clients. They will be responsible for driving the overall business of our Flagship through managing a seasoned team of salespeople, coaching, and equipping the Boutique Director with critical business knowledge.
In a context of high growth ambition for the WFJ Division in the US market, our must have and priority is to “Drive Scale”, while maintaining an exceptional level of image and service, through a brand and client-centric approach at the Boutique level. It will be essential to partner closely with NYC Fashion leadership & WFJ Category Managers to grow the overall WFJ business of the 5th Avenue flagship.
Our ideal candidate will have minimum five years of retail leadership experience, extensive WFJ experience coupled with a strong understanding of the NYC market. Candidates should have a passion for people and business development across all WFJ categories, be comfortable with collaboration and cross-divisional partnership, as well as have an excellent client service mindset.
What Impact You Can Create at CHANEL:
Drive scale and grow WFJ business across all segments (W/FJ/HJ), through the 5th Ave WFJ sales team. Engage neighboring Fashion and WFJ partners to reach strong growth ambition. Deliver on business driving KPIs around recruitment, retention, conversion, data capture, etc. Come up with creative and strategic ideas to increase sales
Through spending time on the selling floor, coach and inspire team to deliver an elevated client experience for all clients at all times
Foster a positive working environment and create a culture of feedback, encouraging diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork
Provide initial and frequent ongoing training and development for all team members, including Chanel savoir faire, sales techniques and service delivery
Drive all aspects of the WFJ business, including analysis, reporting, assortment planning, and partnership with Home Office teams
Lead team with agility and resilience, continuously improving based on key performance indicators and lessons learned
Represent Chanel in the market, developing the client base through community involvement, partnerships with local high-profile businesses, as well as social and seasonal events

Position Logistics:
Minimum 5 years of related experience
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
