Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Salon Apprentice to join our team. As a Salon Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced salon environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the beauty industry and eager to gain hands-on experience.
Duties:
– Assist senior stylists with various salon tasks, including shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying hair
– Prepare clients for services by draping and positioning them appropriately
– Clean and sanitize salon tools, equipment, and workstations
– Maintain inventory of salon supplies and notify management when items need to be restocked
– Learn and apply color theory techniques under the guidance of senior stylists
– Learn product line and assist clients with finding the proper products
Experience:
– Knowledge of cosmetology principles and techniques
– Understanding of proper sanitation practices in a salon setting
