Perfect for either a licensed / permit holding cosmetologist looking to start their career, a seasoned stylist looking to get back into the beauty field, or even a stylist looking to step back from behind the chair yet stay in the salon environment with the benefits of a stable paycheck.
Responsibilities & duties include but not limited to answering phones, scheduling appointments, shampooing hair, assisting stylists, blow drying, mixing color and applying toners, unpacking orders, laundry and general cleaning, attending educational classes, while being offered the opportunity to grow a clientele.
This job offering is available for part-time or full-time hours. We offer 2 locations (Brielle & Spring Lake) situated in the heart of the beautiful Jersey Shore. Mostly day shift and weekend opportunity available.
Qualifications:
– Willingness to learn and assist with salon tasks
– Customer service skills
– Basic knowledge of hair styling and cosmetology
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Interest in the beauty industry
– Retail sales experience is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
