“`Duties“`
– Assist salon stylists and technicians with various tasks
– Greet and check-in clients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
– Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns
– Assist with salon inventory management, including restocking supplies and products
– Clean and sanitize salon equipment and workstations
– Prepare clients for services by shampooing, conditioning, and drying hair
– Assist with hair color application, and styling as needed
Assistants help hair stylists with all tasks, greet customers, and shampoo and style customer hair. Daily job tasks performed by assistants vary based on the number of clients coming into the salon or spa, the services offered at the facility, and the number of hair stylists working there.
Must have open availability Monday – Friday
Not a seasonal position
Hours Needed: Tuesday 3-9, Wednesday 3-8, and Thursday 2pm – 9pm, Saturday 9am – 4pm
Shampooing clients, always visible and ready to work
Clean all work areas.
This includes sweeping floors, taking out trash, wiping down styling and shampoo stations after use. Also wash and dry smocks, towels, and other fabrics used.
Stock inventory items and fill out inventory reports.
Salon Assistant have outgoing, people-pleasing personalities and excellent customer service skills
