**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Salon Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of the salon, supporting stylists and ensuring exceptional customer service. **Responsibilities:** – Assist stylists with various tasks including shampooing, conditioning, and preparing clients for services – Maintain salon cleanliness and organization – Greet and attend to clients in a friendly and professional manner – Support retail sales by recommending products and assisting with purchases – Learn and effectively use salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client information – Assist in upselling salon services and retail products – Help with inventory management and restocking of supplies **Requirements:** – Experience or willingness to learn about eyelash extensions, hair styling, makeup application, and retail sales – Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude – Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY is a plus – Ability to perform basic retail math calculations for transactions – Willingness to mentor under senior stylists for skill development Join our team and embark on a rewarding career in the beauty industry.
