Job Summary
The Salon Assistant plays a key role in keeping the salon running smoothly while ensuring every child and parent has a fun, positive experience. Responsibilities include scheduling, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with inventory, and supporting guest relations.
Responsibilities
- Manage appointment scheduling and guest check‑ins
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon environment
- Follow and enforce hygiene and sanitation standards
- Assist with inventory tracking and stock organization
- Support training and onboarding of team members
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with children and parents
- Help maintain a fun, welcoming atmosphere
- Multi‑task in a fast‑paced setting
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑facing role
- 3+ years of customer service experience preferred
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and friendly personality
- Ability to work weekends
